Nazmul Hasan Papon
Nazmul Hassan (born 31 May 1961) is the current president of Bangladesh Cricket Board and a member of parliament from Kishoreganj-6 constituency. Personal life Hassan was born to Zillur Rahman, who later became president of Bangladesh, and Ivy Rahman, a Bangladesh Awami League politician. He has two sisters, Tania Bukth and Tonyma Rahman. He completed his MBA from Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. Career As cricket administrator Hassan was elected as the president of Bangladesh Cricket Board in October 2013. He was preceded by AHM Mustafa Kamal who was selected the Vice-President of ICC. He was elected unanimously. He is the first elected president of the board with his predecessors being appointed by the Bangladesh Government. In the election, Papon competed with Saber Hasan Chowdhury. The Bangladesh Cricket board ( bn, বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড; abbreviated as BCB) is the governing body of cricket in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Cricket Board first became an associate member of the International Cricket Council in 1977 and on June 26, 2000 became a Full Member.
