''Navad'' ( fa, نود, meaning ninety - 90 min.) was an Iranian, Persian language, popular weekly television programme broadcast by Channel 3 in Iran and hosted by Adel Ferdosipour. The program focused on the football matches played in the Persian Gulf Pro League every week. Every episode typically featured two guests, one who analyzed the technical aspects of the matches, and the other discussed the referee's decisions and errors. On some shows, famous football players were invited and interviewed as well. (Analyzor has currently replaced by an analyze segment) Navad show contained segments like "With the Legionnaires" (reporting on the Iranian footballers playing abroad), "Navad News" (the latest news about football in Iran) and polls (sometimes prediction of the upcoming matches) which could be contributed via SMS or Navad official app on iOS and Android. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2 (Iran), League 2. Since 2016, the league comprises 18 teams. The winner and the runner-up of the Azadegan League are automatically promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League. Adel Ferdosipour ( fa, عادل فردوسی‌پور; born 3 October 1974), is an Iranian journalist, football commentator, translator, university professor and television show host and producer. He was the host and producer of the popular TV show ''Navad''. He is producer of the popular TV show '' Football 120''. Life Ferdosipour was born on 3 October 1974 in the Tehran, to a family who originally comes from the city of Rafsanjan in Kerman province. Ferdosipour attended Zoghi Elementary School, before graduating to attend Alborz High School. He received his master's degree in industrial engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Adel is a close friend of Ali Daei as they both attended the same university. He is a member and the captain of celebrities team in Iran.
