Nausherwani Tombs
Nausherwani tombs, also spelled as Noshirwani tombs, are located near Qila Ladgasht in Mashkel tehsil, Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan. The Nausherwani tombs are a set of nine tombs dating back nearly 800 years. According to district gazetteer of Kharan (1906) there were nine tombs of which two have collapsed by 2004. Nikodar Ooghul belonged to the Arghun Dynasty and he converted to Islam and adopted the name Sultan Ahmad Khan in 681 Hijri (1282/1283). Ladgasht is one of the three UCs of Tehsil Mashkel, and is the biggest Union Council of the tehsil. Mashkel (ماشکید ) is a tehsil in Washuk District, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is the biggest Tehsil of District Washuk and lies on the border between Iran and Pakistan. According to the census of Pakistan, Mashkhel has a population of around 70,000. It is known for its date tree and deserts. Kharan District
Kharan district ( bal, هاران/خاران; ur, ) is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. Demographics At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 162,766, of which 84,631 were males and 78,135 females. Rural population was 111,378 (68.43%) while the urban population was 51,388 (31.57%). The literacy rate was 40.93% - the male literacy rate was 55.42% while the female literacy rate was 25.47%. 595 people in the district were from religious minorities. At the time of the 2017 census, 81.49% of the population spoke Balochi and 16.88% Brahui as their first language. Sultan Ahmad Khan
Sultan Ahmad Khan bin Sardar 'Azim Mohammadzai (), also known as Sultan Jan () was the ruler of the Principality of Herat from September 1857 to April 1863. He was a nephew of Dost Mohammad Khan. In 1855-56, Sultan Ahmad Khan sent a petition to the Shahanshah. If they would support Sultan Ahmad Khan with an army he would overthrow the Amir-i Kabir and annex Afghanistan into the Guarded Domains. He was intercepted by Dost Mohammad Khan though and exiled Sultan Ahmad Khan to Iran. When the Anglo-Persian War ended he was installed as ruler of Herat by the Iranians.
