National road 4 ( pl, Droga krajowa nr 4, abbreviated as DK4) is a route belonging to the Polish national road network. The highway connects the southern regions of Poland. It runs from Jędrzychowice near Zgorzelec at the German border to Korczowa at the Ukrainian border, as the A4 motorway. National road 4 is a component of European highway E40. The A4 motorway has been completed in July 2016, therefore entire former road 4 has been renumbered as national route 94. Lower Silesia Voivodeship
Lower Silesian Voivodeship, or Lower Silesia Province, in southwestern Poland, is one of the 16 voivodeships (provinces) into which Poland is divided. The voivodeship was created on 1 January 1999 out of the former Wrocław, Legnica, Wałbrzych and Jelenia Góra Voivodeships, following the Polish local government reforms adopted in 1998. Korczowa ( uk, Корчова, ''Korchova'') is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Radymno, within Jarosław County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine. The village lies approximately east of Radymno, east of Jarosław, and east of the regional capital Rzeszów. Before World War II the settlement was a farmstead in Gnojnice which were a suburb of nearby Krakowiec. In 2006 the village had a population of 660. European route E40 is the longest European route, more than long, connecting Calais in France via Belgium, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan, with Ridder in Kazakhstan near the border with Russia and China. A different route connecting Calais and Ridder is about shorter, mostly using the E30 via Berlin-Moscow-Omsk.
