National Rugby Sevens Championships
The National Rugby Sevens Championship is an annual rugby sevens competition hosted by the Australian Rugby Union. Tournaments are held for senior men's and women's teams, as well as for junior men's and women's teams with an under-18 age requirement. It is contested by teams from Australian states and territories, and National Indigenous representative sides, as well as teams from the Australian Armed Services, and Australian Universities. The national women's tournament was launched in its present format in 2012, The inaugural national men's tournament was held in 2015. Ballymore Stadium
Ballymore is a rugby union stadium situated in Herston, Queensland, Herston, a suburb of Brisbane, Australia. It is the headquarters of Queensland Rugby Union and was the home ground of the Brisbane City (rugby team), Brisbane City team in the National Rugby Championship, until the league's disbandment in 2019. It is also used as a training facility for the Queensland Reds and Australian Wallabies rugby teams. UWA Sports Park
UWA Sports Park is a multi-purpose sporting and recreation reserve in Mount Claremont, Western Australia. It is located on 56 hectares of land approximately 10 km west of Perth and is owned by the University of Western Australia. The park provides sporting facilities for Australian rules football, Rugby union, soccer, and field hockey as well as baseball, softball and tennis. The park has clubhouse and changing room facilities and the fields have lighting suitable for hosting night time sports events. The land that UWA Sports Park is situated on was gifted to the university by the Government of Western Australia in 1904. Robina Stadium
Robina Stadium, also known by its sponsored name Cbus Super Stadium, is a rectangular football stadium in the Gold Coast suburb of Robina, Queensland. The main usage is as the home ground to the National Rugby League's Gold Coast Titans; this venue sometimes hosts the A-League team Brisbane Roar FC. The Australia men's national rugby sevens team participates in international competitions such as the World Rugby Sevens Series and Rugby World Cup Sevens. The Australia women's national rugby sevens team, are the Australia national rugby sevens team of women. They were champions of the inaugural Women's Sevens World Cup in 2009. The team plays in the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series as one of the "core teams" on the world tour, of which they have been crowned Champions three times. The team also played in the preceding competition to the current world series, the IRB Women's Sevens Challenge Cup. In 2016, they won the inaugural gold medal at the Rio Summer Olympics.
