National road 3 ( pl, Droga krajowa nr 3) is a route belonging to the Polish national road network. The highway connects the northwestern and southwestern regions of Poland, running from Świnoujście at the German border to Jakuszyce at the Czech border, traversing through the West Pomeranian, Lubusz and Lower Silesian voivodeships. National road 3 is a component of European highway E65. National road 3 is currently being upgraded to express road S3, with the older highway being classified as Gmina road running parallel or near the completed sections of the modern expressway. The West Pomeranian Voivodeship, also known as the West Pomerania Province, is a voivodeship (province) in northwestern Poland. Its capital and largest city is Szczecin. Its area equals 22 892.48 km² (8,838.84 sq mi), and in 2021, it was inhabited by 1 682 003 people. Expressway S3 or express road S3 (in Polish ''droga ekspresowa S3'') is a major road under development in Poland, which is planned to run from Świnoujście on the Baltic Sea through Szczecin, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zielona Góra and Legnica, to the border with the Czech Republic, where it will connect to the planned D11 motorway. The total intended length is , of which is open to traffic and is under construction (as of November 2021). The main section from Szczecin ( A6) through Jordanowo ( A2) to Legnica ( A4) was constructed mainly in years 2008 – 2021, and is completed on the whole intended length. National road 2 ( pl, Droga krajowa nr 2, abbreviated as DK2) is part of the Polish national road network. The highway connects the western and eastern regions of Poland, running from Świecko at the German border to Terespol at the border with Belarus, traversing through the Lubusz, Greater Poland, Łódź Masovian and Lublin voivodeships. National road 2 is part of European highway E30. Skwierzyna (german: Schwerin an der Warthe) is a town of 9,671 inhabitants (2019) in Lubusz Voivodeship in western Poland, the administrative seat of the Gmina Skwierzyna. National Road 6 ( pl, Droga krajowa 6, abbreviated DK 6) is a route belonging to the Polish national roads network. The route is in the north of Poland and runs from the German border, in Kołbaskowo-Nadrensee, to Łęgowo for 351 km.
