National Live Music Awards Of 2018
The National Live Music Awards of 2018 are the third National Live Music Awards. The event took place on 6 December 2018. The event moved its gala event to Brisbane – following events in Sydney and Melbourne in the last two years. The 2018 event introduced a new award for ''Best Live Music Photographer in Australia'' and a ''Hall of Fame'' equivalent, titled the ''Live Legends''. ''Live Country or Folk Act'' was renamed to ''Live Country Act''. The state based ''All Ages Achievement'' expanded to all states and territories, from only NSW and Victoria in 2017. The event was streamed live and for free via Netgigs. Courtney Melba Barnett (born 3 November 1987) is an Australian singer, songwriter, and musician. Edwina Margaret Lumsden, professionally known as Fanny Lumsden, is an Australian country music singer and songwriter. Lumsden is best known for her ARIA-award winning album ''Fallow''. John Butler Trio
The John Butler Trio are an Australian roots/rock band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler, an APRA and ARIA-award-winning musician. They formed in Fremantle in 1998 with Jason McGann on drums, Gavin Shoesmith on bass and John Butler on vocals. By 2009, the trio consisted of Butler with Byron Luiters on bass and Nicky Bomba on drums and percussion, the latter being replaced by Grant Gerathy in 2013.
