National Intelligence Directorate (Pakistan)
The National Intelligence Directorate (( ur, ) is a national intelligence estimate authority to integrate foreign, military and domestic intelligence in the national interests of Pakistan. The NID's goals to manage and pool effective intelligence works undertaken by both civilian and defence intelligence agencies of the country, and has aims to increase intelligence sharing with the four provinces. The NID is headed by the Minister of Interior. National Intelligence Estimate
National Intelligence Estimates (NIEs) are United States federal government documents that are the authoritative assessment of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) on intelligence related to a particular national security issue. NIEs are produced by the National Intelligence Council and express the coordinated judgments of the United States Intelligence Community, the group of 18 U.S. intelligence agencies. NIEs are classified documents prepared for policymakers. General overview NIEs are considered to be "estimative" products, in that they present what intelligence analysts estimate may be the course of future events. Coordination of NIEs involves not only trying to resolve any inter-agency differences, but also assigning confidence levels to the key judgments and rigorously evaluating the sourcing for them. Financial Monitoring Unit
The Financial Monitoring Unit ( ur, , abbreviated as FMU) is the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Pakistan established under the provisions of Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2010 (Previously Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance, 2007). It is an independent intelligence service department of the Government of Pakistan and primarily responsible for analyzing transactions, money laundering cases, building efforts against the terrorist financing, and all sorts of financial crimes within the jurisdiction of financial laws of Pakistan. National Counter Terrorism Authority
The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) ( ur, ), commonly called Nacta, is a Pakistani internal security organization responsible for making counter terrorism and counter extremism policies and strategies. Anti-Narcotics Force
The Anti-Narcotics Force ( ur, , reporting name: ''ANF'') is a federal executive bureau of the Government of Pakistan, tasked with combating the narcotics smuggling and use within Pakistan. The Special Security Unit (SSU) is a specialized counterterrorism and security unit of the Sindh Police in Pakistan. National Crises Management Cell
The National Crisis Management Cell ( ur, ) ( reporting name: NCMC) was primarily a domestic intelligence assessment and management institution/agency, operational under the Ministry of Interior (MoI), Government of Pakistan. The Intelligence Bureau ( ur, ) is a civilian intelligence agency in Pakistan. Established in 1947, the IB is Pakistan's oldest intelligence agency. Appointments and supervision of its operations are authorized by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
