Started in November 2021, it is the first professional ice hockey league in Australia. The league was formally announced on the 16th of September, with three founding teams to start the league. All three teams are based in Adelaide, and all games will be played in the IceArenA. Bibra Lake is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia; it takes its name from the extensive freshwater lake within its boundaries, Bibra Lake. It is located within the City of Cockburn and its postcode is 6163. History The existence of the lake was first reported by Augustus Gregory during a survey of George Robb's land in May 1842.
