National Defence College (Myanmar)
National Defence College (, abbreviated NDC) is a military academy in Myanmar's national capital of Naypyidaw. Opened in 1958, NDC was one of several training facilities opened in the mid-to-late 1950s, the most well known among them being the Defence Services Academy. NDC provides post-graduate master's degrees in defence studies to military officers. Since 1994, NDC has offered one-year courses for officers above the rank of colonel. The Ministry of Defence ( my, ကာကွယ်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန; abbreviated MoD) is a government ministry in Myanmar (Burma), responsible for the country's national security and the armed forces (the Tatmadaw). Zaw Min Latt ( my, ဇော်မင်းလတ်, born 12 April 1974), also known as Ko Latt, is a Burmese politician currently serving as a House of Nationalities MP representing the Shan State No. 1 constituency. He is a member of National League for Democracy.
