The National Architecture Award of Spain ( es, Premio Nacional de Arquitectura de España, links=no) is an honor granted annually by the Government of Spain. Aqueduct Of Segovia
The Aqueduct of Segovia () is a Roman aqueduct in Segovia, Spain. It was built around the first century AD to channel water from springs in the mountains away to the city's fountains, public baths and private houses, and was in use until 1973. Its elevated section, with its complete arcade of 167 arches, is one of the best-preserved Roman aqueduct bridges and the foremost symbol of Segovia, as evidenced by its presence on the city's coat of arms. The Old Town of Segovia and the aqueduct, were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. History As the aqueduct lacks a legible inscription (one was apparently located in the structure's ''attic'', or top portion), the date of construction cannot be definitively determined. Antonio López García (born 6 January 1936) is a Spanish Painting, painter and Sculpture, sculptor, known for his Realism (arts), realistic style. He is criticized by some modern artists for what they consider neo-academism, but has been praised by leading art critics, such as Robert Studley Forrest Hughes, Robert Hughes, who considered him "the greatest realist artist alive" in 1986. His style sometimes is deemed Hyperreality, hyperrealistic. His painting was the subject of the film ''El Sol del Membrillo'', by Victor Erice, in 1992.
