The National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs; ) is a research institution in Taiwan resulted from the combination of national laboratories into an independent nonprofit institute. It is located in Taipei. History NARLabs was established in 2003. In 2019 the National Nano Device Laboratories and National Chip Implementation Center were merged to create the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute. National Space Organization
The National Space Organization (NSPO or NSO) is the national civilian space agency of the Republic of China (Taiwan), part of the National Applied Research Laboratories under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan), Ministry of Science and Technology. NSPO is involved in the development of space technologies and related research. Natural Environment Research Council
The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) is a British research council that supports research, training and knowledge transfer activities in the environmental sciences. Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), branded as Metro Taipei, is a rapid transit system serving the areas of Taipei and New Taipei City, New Taipei in Taiwan, operated by the State-owned enterprise, government-owned Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, which also operates the Maokong Gondola. Taiwan Ocean Research Institute
The Taiwan Ocean Research Institute (TORI; ) is the national marine science and technology institute of Taiwan. TORI is part of the National Applied Research Laboratories under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan). National Laboratory Animal Center
The National Laboratory Animal Center (NLAC) is a research institute in Taiwan which is part of the National Applied Research Laboratories. History The National Laboratory Animal Center was established in 1994 as the first large scale domestic supplier of specific pathogen free (SPF) laboratory rodents. In June 2003 it was brought under the umbrella of the National Applied Research Laboratories. NLAC supports Taiwan's biomedical industry. In 2015 NLAC succeeded in breeding their first advanced severe immuno deficiency (ASID) mouse which they established a commercial line off of. Wu Tsung-tsong (; born 1955) is a Taiwanese politician. Currently serve as Minister without Portfolio and the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan), Minister of Science and Technology Council of Taiwan.
