National Alliance (Sweden)
The National Alliance ( sv, Nationella Alliansen) was a neo-Nazi organisation run by Robert Vesterlund. Previously known as SUNS (''Stockholms Unga NationalSocialister'') and formed by Vesterlund at the same time as he ran Sverigedemokratisk Ungdom, they published the magazine ''Info 14''. Christopher Rangne was appointed leader in 1996 and the group was contemplating the launch of a National Republican Army (NRA), to function in tandem like the IRA and Sinn Féin. Neo-Nazism
Neo-Nazism comprises the post–World War II militant, social, and political movements that seek to revive and reinstate Nazism, Nazi ideology. Neo-Nazis employ their ideology to promote hatred and Supremacism#Racial, racial supremacy (often white supremacy), attack racial and ethnic minorities (often antisemitism and Islamophobia), and in some cases to create a fascist state. Robert Vesterlund
''Info-14'' was a neo-Nazi website, started as a newspaper and published in paper form from April 1995 until May 2000, when it was turned into a website. The paper was started as a binding factor within the National Alliance with Robert Vesterlund, earlier member of the Sweden Democrats and chairman of Sweden Democratic Youth (SDU), as editor. According to the ten year chronicle in May 2005 the first editions were produced at the party headquarters of the Sweden Democrats in Stockholm, where the production was done on a copying machine. The number 14 in the paper name comes from David Lane's Fourteen Words. When the National Alliance was disbanded after Christopher Rangne left his post, Robert Vesterlund continued his work on Info-14, now as an independent paper. Sweden Democrat Youth ( sv, Sverigedemokratisk Ungdom ; SDU) was the youth league of the Swedish political party Sweden Democrats until 12 September 2015. Background The youth league was founded in 1993 as an independent youth league to its parent party. The original name was (Sweden Democratic Youth Association), but the organization was soon renamed . The youth league was disbanded in 1995 due to rampant problems with neo-Nazism in the ranks, but was reestablished as an independent organization in 1998 before becoming directly associated to the Sweden Democrats. Sweden Democrats leader Jimmie Akesson served as chairman of the youth wing until 2005. White Aryan Resistance ( sv, Vitt Ariskt Motstånd, VAM) was a militant neo-nazi network active in Sweden between 1991 and 1993. The name of the group was derived from the US white supremacist organisation White Aryan Resistance (WAR). According to Stieg Larsson, a researcher of white supremacist organizations, the group was rather styled on the then already defunct US white supremacist group The Order, led by Robert Matthews. VAM was founded by Klas Lund, other leading members were Torulf Magnusson and Peter Melander, editor of the group's magazine ''Storm''. The organisation's symbol was the "Wolfsangel".
