Nathan Robinson (ice Hockey)
Nathan Robinson (born December 31, 1981) is a Canadian former ice hockey forward. He played 7 games in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins between 2003 and 2006. The rest of his career, which lasted from 2002 to 2020, was primarily been spent in Europe. Playing career Robinson played major junior hockey with the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League, where he won the OHL scoring title in the 2001-02 season. He was passed over in the NHL Entry Draft but signed with the Detroit Red Wings as a free agent on October 15, 2002. He made his NHL debut with the Red Wings during the 2003–04 NHL season, playing five games in all, going scoreless. After three years within the Red Wings organization on August 15, 2005, he signed with the Boston Bruins and over the course of the 2005–06 season played two more games in the NHL but again went pointless receiving very little playing time to prove his potential. DEL2 (also known as DEL II) is the second tier ice hockey league in Germany, below the '' Deutsche Eishockey Liga'' (DEL) and ahead of the '' Oberliga''. Founded in 2013 to replace the defunct '' 2nd Bundesliga'', DEL2 is administered by ESBG, under licence from DEB. The Belarusian Extraleague (abbreviated BHL, also known as the Belarusian Open Championship), officially formed in 2006, is the top ice hockey league in Belarus. In its past, it has switched several times between being and not being an open league (in reference to allowing foreign teams), but for the 2008–2009 season, the Belarus Ice Hockey Federation decided to open the Belarusian Extraleague, the Belarusian Premier League and the Belarusian junior leagues. The Chance Liga is the second-highest level of professional ice hockey in the Czech Republic, after the Extraliga. It began in 1993 and is run and administered by Czech Ice Hockey Association. Until 2015, the league was known as the 1st Czech National Hockey League. It was then known as the WSM Liga until 2018.
