Nathan McAndrew
Nathan John McAndrew (born 14 July 1993) is an Australian cricketer. A medium-fast bowler, McAndrew was called into the Sydney Thunder squad for BBL, 05, where the Sydney Thunder would ultimately win the championship. He made his Twenty20 debut on 16 January 2016 against the Sydney Sixers. After linking up with the club through NSW bowling coach Andre Adams, McAndrew made his first-class debut for Auckland on 5 February 2016 in the 2015–16 Plunket Shield, where he played three matches. McAndrew was first called up to the New South Wales squad in 2019, where he made his List A debut on 22 September 2019, in the 2019–20 Marsh One-Day Cup. In June 2020, McAndrew was included in the New South Wales contracts list ahead of the 2020/21 season, where he appeared in the 2020–21 Marsh One-Day Cup. Wollongong
Wollongong ( ), colloquially referred to as The Gong, is a city located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but it was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with so the innings ends. Usually two batters finish not out if the batting side declares in first-class cricket, and often at the end of the scheduled number of overs in limited overs cricket. Shaun Edward Marsh (born 9 July 1983) is an Australian cricketer who plays for the Western Australia cricket team in Australian domestic cricket and has represented Australia in all three formats. Nicknamed SOS ("Son of Swampy"), he is a left-handed top-order batsman. Cameron Donald Green (born 3 June 1999) is an Australian cricketer who plays for Western Australia and Perth Scorchers as an all-rounder. He made his international debut for the Australia national cricket team in December 2020. Career Green grew up in Subiaco, Perth and played for the Subiaco-Floreat Cricket Club. Cameron Timothy Bancroft (born 19 November 1992) is an Australian cricketer contracted to Western Australia in Australian first class cricket, Durham in English first class cricket, and the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League. He made his Test debut for the Australian national team in November 2017. The Western Australian Men’s cricket team, formerly nicknamed the Western Warriors, represent the Australian state of Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket. Sheffield Shield
The Sheffield Shield (currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Marsh Sheffield Shield) is the domestic first-class cricket competition of Australia. The tournament is contested between teams from the six states of Australia. Sheffield Shield is named after Lord Sheffield. Prior to the Shield being established, a number of intercolonial matches were played. The Shield, donated by Lord Sheffield, was first contested during the 1892–93 season, between New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria. Queensland was admitted for the 1926–27 season, Western Australia for the 1947–48 season, and Tasmania for the 1977–78 season.
