Nathan Doyle
Nathan Luke Robert Doyle (born 12 January 1987) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender or a midfielder. He has represented England at under-16, under-17, under-18 and under-19 levels. Career Derby County Born in Derby, Derbyshire, Doyle started his career playing for Noel-Baker School. He made his professional debut for Derby County on 1 November 2003, aged 16, in a 3–0 defeat away to Preston North End. Notts County (loan) On 24 February 2006, Doyle signed for League Two club Notts County on a one-month loan deal. He made his debut for the club the next day in a 2–1 defeat away to Lincoln City. After making four appearances during his initial one-month spell, Doyle's loan was extended to the end of the season. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders. There are also attacking midfielders with limited defensive assignments. The size of midfield units on a team and their assigned roles depend on what formation is used; the unit of these players on the pitch is commonly referred to as the midfield. Billy Davies
William McIntosh Davies (born 31 May 1964) is a Scottish former professional footballer and manager. He won the 2007 Play-offs with Derby County, finished as runners-up in 2005 with Preston North End, and reached the semi-finals in 2006 (Preston), 2010 and 2011 (both with Nottingham Forest). Playing career As a schoolboy, Davies was associated with Manchester United and he was offered a contract by then manager Dave Sexton. Davies started his professional playing career at the Scottish club Rangers. He made his debut aged against Brechin City on 23 September 1981, but rarely featured for the first team in his six years at Ibrox. He then had spells with Swedish teams Jönköping and Elfsborg. Danny Adams
Daniel Benjamin Adams (born 3 January 1976) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Adams turned professional in 1999 and played for clubs including Macclesfield Town, Stockport County and Huddersfield Town. On 12 January 2007, the Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson told Adams along with two other teammates ( Paweł Abbott and Martin McIntosh) that they were for sale. After telling this to the players, Peter Jackson told them to keep quiet about this but Adams thought that this was wrong and he told BBC Radio Leeds later that night. As a result of that Adams was then dropped from the first-team for the game against Cheltenham Town the next day and his contract was cancelled by mutual agreement on 23 January. Huddersfield Town A
Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. The town is in the foothills of the Pennines. The River Holme's confluence into the similar-sized Colne to the south of the town centre which then flows into the Calder in the north eastern outskirts of the town. The West Yorkshire derbies are a series of football matches or rugby league matches taking place between football or rugby league clubs from West Yorkshire. Colin Todd (born 12 December 1948) is an English football manager and former player. He was most recently the manager of Esbjerg fB. As a player, he made more than 600 appearances in the Football League, playing for Sunderland, Derby County, Everton, Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest, Oxford United and Luton Town, and also played in the North American Soccer League for the Vancouver Whitecaps.
