Nathan Clarke (English Footballer)
Nathan Clarke (born 30 November 1983) is an English former footballer professional footballer who played as a centre-back. In a career that last from 2001 until 2021 Clarke represented Huddersfield Town, Colchester United, Oldham Athletic, Bury, Leyton Orient, Bradford City, Coventry City, Grimsby Town and FC Halifax Town. Playing career Huddersfield Town Clarke is a product of the Huddersfield Town Academy. He began his first team career at the age of just 17 when his debut came in a 1–1 draw away to Stoke City on 8 September 2001. He scored his first goal for his home club on his home debut in the game in which ended in a 4–2 loss against Blackpool. He made a total of 37 starts in all competitions during the 2001–02 season his first as a professional with the first team with 36 of them coming in the league scoring once. Nathan Clarke (Australian Footballer)
Nathan Clarke (born 27 October 1979) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL). Clarke was recruited by Brisbane through the rookie draft, from Maroochydore in Queensland. His father, Barry, is a half forward flanker in the state's official Team of the Century. A utility, he played his first game late in the 2000 AFL season, against Hawthorn at the Gabba. In a memorable league debut, Clarke kicked two goals, took 10 marks and had 18 disposals. After appearing just twice in 2001, a Brisbane premiership year, he was delisted by the Lions. Clarke then nominated for the 2001 AFL Draft and was redrafted by Brisbane with pick 45, which they had received in the Trent Knobel trade. Career Before attending East 15 Acting School, he worked as an extra in both ''Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'' and ''Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince''. Since graduating, Clarke has worked extensively in theatre, film and television. His most notable roles have included voicing the character of Alfie, in the CGI animated children's action film '' Thomas & Friends: Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure'' (2015), and playing Munir Al-Yazbek in the American drama television series, ''Tyrant''. He has also played Danny Boyd in Series 7 and 8 of CBBC’s ''4 O'Clock Club''.
