Nate McLouth
Nathan Richard McLouth (born October 28, 1981) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. He was primarily a center fielder. Amateur career Nathan Richard McLouth was born in Muskegon, Michigan, on October 28, 1981, as the oldest of Rick and Pam McLouth's three sons. His brothers are Jake and Christopher. McLouth attended Whitehall Sr. High School, where he was coached by Warren Zweigle. During his high school baseball career, McLouth stole 180 bases in 181 attempts. McLouth was named USA Today Honorable Mention All American in 1999, followed by Michigan's Co-Mr. Baseball, and the state's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2000. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the bases. As an outfielder, they normally play behind the six players located in the field. By convention, each of the nine defensive positions in baseball is numbered. The outfield positions are 7 (left field), 8 (center field) and 9 (right field). These numbers are shorthand designations useful in baseball scorekeeping and are not necessarily the same as the squad numbers worn on player uniforms. Dioner Favian Navarro Vivas (born February 9, 1984) is a Venezuelan former professional baseball catcher. Russell Nathan Coltrane Jeanson Martin Jr. (born February 15, 1983) is a Canadian former professional baseball catcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Toronto Blue Jays, and is a four-time MLB All-Star. In 2007, Martin won the Gold Glove Award and Silver Slugger Award. Nyjer Jamid Morgan (born July 2, 1980) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. The International League (IL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the United States. Along with the Pacific Coast League, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). The Lynchburg Hillcats are a Minor League Baseball team in Lynchburg, Virginia that plays in the Carolina League and is the Single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians.
