Nate DiCasmirro
Nate DiCasmirro (born September 27, 1978) is a Canadian-born Italian former professional ice hockey Winger (ice hockey), right winger who was born in Atikokan, Ontario, but grew up in Burnsville, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. He most notably played in the American Hockey League and for the Italy men's national ice hockey team, Italian national team. Personal life He holds dual Canadian and U.S. citizenship and is of Italian descent. Career DiCasmirro left home as a teenager to play minor ice hockey, midget AAA hockey in Marquette, Michigan, and later played for St. Cloud State University. Atikokan, Ontario
Atikokan (, Ojibwe for ' caribou bones') is a town in the Rainy River District in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. The population was 2,642 as of the 2021 census. The town is one of the main entry points into Quetico Provincial Park and promotes itself as the "Canoeing Capital of Canada". The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season. Alex Auld
Alexander James Auld (born January 7, 1981) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Auld played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers, Phoenix Coyotes, Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators, Dallas Stars, New York Rangers and the Montreal Canadiens. He has also appeared internationally for Team Canada on three occasions: the 2001 World Junior Championships, the 2004 Spengler Cup, and the 2006 World Championships. The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Minor hockey is an umbrella term for amateur ice hockey which is played below the junior age level. Players are classified by age, with each age group playing in its own league. The rules, especially as it relates to body contact, vary from class to class. In North America, the rules are governed by the national bodies, Hockey Canada and USA Hockey, while local hockey associations administer players and leagues for their region.
