Natalie Knight
Natalie Knight (born 24 October 1986) is an American former sprinter who competed primarily in the 200 metres. She was a four-time NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships finalist, and during her brief professional career she competed internationally in the 2010 Diamond League. Biography Knight competed at Shiloh High School, where she set several school records and set the AAU Junior Olympic Games record in the 4 × 100 metres relay with a time of 44.79. She competed collegiately for the Florida Gators track and field team, where she placed 6th in the 2005 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 m as a freshman and then placed 6th again as a senior. In 2008, she competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials, where she qualified for the quarter-finals but did not reach the semifinals. The 100 metres, or 100-meter dash, is a sprint race in track and field competitions. The shortest common outdoor running distance, the dash is one of the most popular and prestigious events in the sport of athletics. Florida Gators Track And Field
The Florida Gators track and field program represents the University of Florida in the sport of track and field. The program includes separate men's and women's teams, both of which compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). 4 × 100 Metres Relay
The 4 × 100 metres relay or sprint relay is an athletics track event run in lanes over one lap of the track with four runners completing 100 metres each. The first runners must begin in the same stagger as for the individual 400 m race. Each runner carries a relay baton. Before 2018, the baton had to be passed within a 20 m changeover box, preceded by a 10-metre acceleration zone. With a rule change effective November 1, 2017, that zone was modified to include the acceleration zone as part of the passing zone, making the entire zone 30 metres in length. The outgoing runner cannot touch the baton until it has entered the zone, and the incoming runner cannot touch it after it has left the zone. Shiloh High School (Georgia)
Shiloh High School is a public high school located in Snellville, Georgia, United States, in southern Gwinnett County. The school is part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools system and opened in 1984. It serves students in the Shiloh Cluster, which feeds from the Anderson Livsey, Annistown, Centerville, Partee, and Shiloh Elementary Schools and Shiloh Middle School. The school mascot is the General, and the school colors are black, silver, and white. The 2010 Diamond League season was the first season of the Diamond League, an annual series of fourteen one-day track and field meetings. The series began on 14 May in Doha, Qatar and ended on 27 August in Brussels, Belgium. Superseding the European-centred IAAF Golden League, the Diamond League was the IAAF's first intercontinental series of one-day track and field meetings. The 2022 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships were a regional track and field competition held at Grand Bahama Sports Complex in Freeport, Bahamas, from August 19–21, 2022.
