Antonio Natali (3 February 1921 - 22 March 1991) was an Italian politician. Life Born in Voghera, he joined the PSI in 1945 and became political advisor to Guido Mazzali in the 1950s, citizen secretary of the PSI's Provincial Federation in 1964, provincial counsellor, regional counsellor in Lombardy and vice-president of the first regional 'giunta'. For several years he was president of the Metropolitana Milanese. He was considered political father to Bettino Craxi. Jelal Kalyanji Natali (17 August 1899 – 28 March 1993) was an Indian-New Zealand shopkeeper, Indian community leader and anti-racism activist. Born in Surat, Gujarat, Natali arrived in Auckland in 1920 via Natal, South Africa, and established himself as shopkeeper, first in Waimiha in the King Country and then in Taumarunui in the central North Island. After investing in Taumarunui properties and businesses he moved to Browns Bay in Auckland, where his descendants still live. As early as 1937 Natali was actively engaged in campaigning against racist laws. Biography Valiano was the son of Guido and Giovanna Lunardi;  he was born in Agliana, a suburb of the Tuscan city of Pistoia, but relocated with his family to nearby Prato at the age of seven. Renato Natali (10 May 1883 – 7 March 1979) was an Italian painter, member of the post-Macchiaioli group of painters in Livorno during the first half of the 20th century. He often painted proletarian neighborhoods of the industrial port city of Livorno, as well as genre and cabaret scenes. Biography He was born in Livorno. He did not attend a formal academy, although he was said to have learned from Guglielmo Micheli, and was a member of the Gruppo Labronico of painters that met in the Caffè Bardi in Livorno. He provided some of the decorations for the establishment. He traveled to Paris for two years in 1912, but is said to have ''fallen in love with Livorno while in Paris''. Lorenzo Natali Pierucci Bondicchi (1922–1989) was an Italian politician for Christian Democracy, and a European Commissioner from 1977 to 1989. Early life and career Natali's parents were born in Colle di Buggiano, in the province of Pistoia. His mother was a countess, while his father was the son of a farmer, but he graduated in medicine. In 1925 his father won a primary position at the hospital in L'Aquila and the whole family moved to Abruzzo. Natali grew up and lived in L'Aquila. In 1929, Natali's mother died in childbirth. Natali was greatly influenced by his father, a convinced anti-fascist. Born in Piombino, he headed several departments at the Uffizi from 1981 onwards before becoming its director from 2006 until 2015.
