Nat Grider
Natalie "Nat" Grider (born 10 October 2000) is an Australian rules footballer playing for Brisbane in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Junior and state football Grider started playing Australian rules football as a teenager with Jindalee Jags. She was also a member of the Brisbane Lions Academy and excelled for the club in the 2018 Winter Series against Greater Western Sydney and Gold Coast. After three years at Jindalee Jags, in 2017, Grider joined the University of Queensland in the AFL Queensland Women's League (QWAFL). In the 2018 season she won the QWAFL Rising Star Award, was selected in the QWAFL Team of the Year, and shared the club's best and fairest award with Megan Hunt and Jane Childes. In 2019, she was selected again for the QWAFL Team of the Year. Grider represented Queensland in the AFL Women's Under 18 Championships. The Gold Coast Suns is a professional Australian rules football club that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club is based on Queensland's Gold Coast in the suburb of Carrara. Leah Kaslar (born 11 September 1985) is an Australian rules footballer who played for and co-captained Brisbane and the Gold Coast in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Early life Kaslar was born in 1985 in Caringbah, New South Wales and moved with her family to Cairns, Queensland before her first birthday. She first played football as a teenager in Cairns and moved to the Gold Coast shortly after her 21st birthday where she began playing football for Coolangatta Tweed Heads in the QAFLW. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Gabrielle "Gabby" Collingwood (born 15 January 1999) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Brisbane Lions in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Junior and state football Collingwood started playing Australian rules football in May 2011, with the Forest Lake Dragons. She played three years with the Jindalee Jags, including with the boys' squads. Following that she was selected to play with the under-17 Brisbane Flames in the 2012 Under 17 Youth Girls State Championships. 2018 AFL Women's Under 18 Championships
The 2018 NAB AFL Women's Under 18 Championships, AFL Women's Under-18 Championships was played between May and July 2018, with six teams competing in the main 'Series 2' round robin tournament and with a further four playing in a two-match on-on-one exhibition as the competition's initial 'Series 1'. Format The competition was opened with 'Series 1', a set of closed competitions between four pairs of teams representing the country's eight largest states and territories. The NAB AFL Women's Under-18 Championships are the annual national Australian rules football championships for women players aged 18 years or younger. The competition is seen as one of the main pathways towards being drafted into a team in the professional AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Originally known as the ''AFL Youth Girls National Championship'', the competition has teams of players representing their states and territories in a round robin tournament. Megan Hunt (born 21 December 1995) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Brisbane Lions in the AFL Women's. Early life Hunt was born in 1995. She was playing for University of Queensland when she was drafted. AFLW career Hunt was recruited by Brisbane with the number 63 pick in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut in the Lions' inaugural game against Melbourne at Casey Fields on 5 February 2017. Brisbane signed Hunt for the 2018 season during the trade period in May 2017.
