Nastik (1983 Film)
''Nastik'' () is a 1983 Indian Hindi-language action drama film produced by Vinod Doshi and directed by Pramod Chakravorty. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Pran, Deven Verma, Sarika, Amjad Khan, Aruna Irani, Madan Puri, Bhagwan Dada, Nalini Jaywant, Rita Bhaduri, Lalita Pawar, Bob Christo and Tom Alter. The soundtrack was scored and composed by Kalyanji Anandji and the songs were written by Anand Bakshi. It was the last film to pair Bachchan and Malini before they made a comeback 20 years later in Baghban (2003). Plot Shankar's ( Amitabh Bachchan) father, who is a village temple priest is murdered by Tiger ( Amjad Khan). His mother and sister are torched in their house. After his father, mother and sister are killed, Shankar decides to bring justice by himself and goes to the palace of Tiger. Instead of killing Tiger, Shankar blinds him. Pramod Chakravorty
Pramod Chakravorty (15 August 1929 – 12 December 2004) was an Indian Hindi film producer and director. Career Chakravorty is best known for directing Hindi film classics like ''Ziddi (1964 film), Ziddi'', ''Love in Tokyo'', ''Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai'' in romantic genre and action films like ''Jugnu (1973 film), Jugnu'' (1973), ''Jagir'' and ''Shatru''. Bob Christo
Robert John Christo, was an Australian-Indian civil engineer and actor in Hindi films. Starting with Sanjay Khan's ''Abdullah'' (1980), he went on to act in over 200 Hindi films in the 1980s and 1990s, including '' Qurbani'' (1980), ''Kaalia'' (1981), '' Nastik'' (1983), '' Mard'' (1985), '' Mr India'' (1987), ''Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja'' (1993) and '' Gumraah'' (1993), mostly playing roles as a non Indian henchman or Army General. Kishore Kumar
Kishore Kumar (born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly (); 4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest, most influential and dynamic singers in the history of Indian music. He was one of the most popular singers in the Indian subcontinent, notable for his yodeling and ability to sing songs in different voices. He used to sing in different genres but some of his rare compositions, considered classics, were lost in time. Sadhana Sargam (née Ghanekar, born 7 March 1969) is an Indian singer known for her playback career in Indian cinema predominantly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil language films. She is a recipient of the National Film Award and Filmfare Awards South. She has also won five Maharashtra State Film Awards, four Gujarat State Film Awards, and one Orissa State Film.
