Carl Paul Nassib (born April 12, 1993) is an American football outside linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL) . He played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions, earning unanimous All-American honors as a senior in 2015. Nassib was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, and has also played for the Las Vegas Raiders. In 2021, Nassib became the first active NFL player to publicly come out as gay and to play in a game. Early years Nassib was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He attended Malvern Preparatory School in Malvern, where he was a three-year letterman in football. He played as an offensive tackle and defensive end. Ryan Paul Nassib (born March 10, 1990) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Syracuse Orange. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. College career Nassib received an athletic scholarship to attend Syracuse University, where he played for the Syracuse Orange football team from 2008 to 2012. He redshirted the 2008 season, sitting on the bench behind Cameron Dantley. Nassib was named as Syracuse's new starting quarterback during 2009 spring practices, jumping over Dantley and Andrew Robinson. He held various posts including Member of parliament, Ambassador to the United States of America, and Minister of State ( without portfolio) . He was also head of the Democratic Renewal Movement and a leading figure in the March 14 coalition, which nominated him as their presidential candidate when they held the parliamentary majority in 2008. Nasib Arida ( ar, نسيب عريضة, ; 1887–1946) was a Syrian-born poet and writer of the Mahjar movement and a founding member of the New York Pen League. Life Arida was born in Homs to a Syrian Greek Orthodox family where he received his education until his immigration to the United States in 1905.. In New York City, Arida started working in retail and writing for '' Al-Hoda'' and ''Meraat-ul-Gharb''. The Bektashi Order; sq, Tarikati Bektashi; tr, Bektaşi or Bektashism is an Islamic Sufi mystic movement originating in the 13th-century. It is named after the Anatolian saint Haji Bektash Wali (d. 1271). The community is currently led by Baba Mondi, the eighth Bektashi Dedebaba and headquartered in Tirana, Albania. Bektashism began as a Shia Islamic Sufi order in Anatolia, during the Ottoman Empire. In 1876, a Salih Nijazi was appointed as the "''baba''" or leader by prominent Bektashi members. After the foundation of the Turkish Republic, Kemal Atatürk banned religious institutions that weren't part of the Directorate of Religious Affairs. Nasib Al-Bakri
Nasib al-Bakri ( ar, نسيب البكري; 1888–1966) was a Syrian politician and nationalist leader in the first half of the 20th century. He played a major role in establishing al-Fatat, an underground organization which sought the independence and unity of the Ottoman Empire's Arab territories. As the chief envoy between al-Fatat and the Hejaz-based Hashemites, al-Bakri became a close aide to Emir Faisal when the latter became King of Syria following the success of the 1916 Arab Revolt. Al-Bakri opposed the establishment of the French Mandate of Syria and became one of the chief commanders of the Great Syrian Revolt, leading the rebels' brief capture of Damascus. He escaped a death warrant in Syria in 1927, but returned the following year after being amnestied. Al-Bakri served as a representative of Damascus in the Syrian Parliament between 1932 and 1946. Judge Shaikh Nasib Al Bitar (June 13, 1890–June 26, 1948) was a Palestinian jurist, born in the city of Nablus in Palestine. He was the second son of Sayyed Said Al Bitar Al Husseini. Education He finished his elementary education in Nablus on July 13, 1902. He completed Al Rushdieh by 1905. For his college education he started in Nablus and then went to Al Azhar University in Cairo for his university degree. He then went to Istanbul for his higher education in Islamic Law. Nasib Al Matni (1910–1958) was a Lebanese journalist who was assassinated on 8 May 1958. He established several publications and edited various newspapers. His assassination triggered the events which led to a political crisis in Lebanon. The murder of Al Matni is one of the unsolved cases in Lebanon. Biography Al Matni was born in 1910. He descended from a Maronite family. Al Matni was the president of the Lebanese Press Federation. During the presidency of Bechara El Khoury he was one of the leading dissidents in Lebanon.
