WeGo Public Transit is a public transportation agency based in Nashville, Tennessee. Consisting of city buses and paratransit, the system serves Nashville and Davidson County. Most bus routes serve the downtown transit station, Music City Central. This makes MTA the largest transit agency where most of the bus routes terminate in a Central Business District with no crosstown service. The crosstown services that do not terminate in downtown Nashville are the Wedgewood (route 21), the Midtown (route 25), the Grassmere/Edmondson Connector (route 72), the Bell Road (route 73), the Madison Connector (route 76), and the Thompson Lane Connector (route 77). Lakewood, Tennessee
Lakewood is a neighborhood of Nashville in Davidson County, Tennessee. The population was 2,302 at the 2010 census, at which time it was an incorporated city, as it was from 1959 until 2011. History Originally incorporated as Dupontonia in 1959 (in reference to the DuPont rayon manufacturing facility located nearby), the city changed its name to Lakewood and reincorporated in 1961. In 1963, the governments of Davidson County and the City of Nashville merged to form a consolidated metropolitan government. Nashville Riverfront (Music City Star Station)
Riverfront station is a train station in Nashville, Tennessee, serving the Music City Star regional rail system. Located at 108 South 1st Avenue in Downtown Nashville near the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, it serves as the western terminus for the line. No parking facilities are available at the station, however, connecting bus service is provided via MTA buses. It is within walking distance of Nissan Stadium via the previously mentioned John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
