Naseebo Lal
''Nasibo'' (also spelled as ''Naseebo'') is a 1994 Indian Punjabi-language film, directed by Manmohan Singh, starring Raj Babbar, Kavita Kamal (Kimi Verma), Preeti Sapru, Amitoj Maan and others. Gurdas Maan gave a special appearance. Plot Nasibo lives with her brother (Naajar Singh), her widowed mother (Santi), and her sister-in-law (Veero). Gurmeet Singh is a family friend and is secretly in love with Nasibo. Santi had once been engaged to marry Diala Singh of Danpur; but Santi broke the ''rishta'' upon discovering that Diala Singh's younger brother had brought shame upon the family by eloping with a girl. In parting, Santi referred to Diala Singh and his family as "''kanjar''" (an individual or family supported by the earnings of a prostitute), which Diala Singh carried as an unforgivable insult and vowed to avenge his honour. Manmohan Singh (film Director)
Manmohan Singh is an Indian film director and cinematographer. He is a director of Punjabi films and cinematographer of Bollywood films. In the past he had frequently collaborated with Yash Chopra and his son Aditya Chopra, for whom he shot '' Chandni'' (1989), ''Lamhe'' (1991), ''Darr'' (1993), ''Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'' (1995), ''Dil To Pagal Hai'' (1997), and ''Mohabbatein'' (2000). Priti Sapru (also spelled as Preeti Sapru), is an Indian actress known for her works in Punjabi and Hindi cinema. She featured in a number of films including '' Nimmo'', ''Yaari Jat Di'' and ''Qurbani Jatt Di'' among others, with actors Veerendra, Gurdas Maan and Raj Babbar. Early life D.K. Babu Singh Maan, also known as Maan Maraarhan Wala, is an Indian songwriter/lyricist of Punjabi-language folk songs. He penned the first song of singer Kuldeep Manak's career. Early life Maan was born on 10 October 1942, to father S. Inder Singh and mother Aas Kaur, in the village of Maraarh of Faridkot district in British Punjab. Gurdas Maan is an Indian playback singer, songwriter and actor mainly associated with Punjabi and Hindi language music and films.
