Alfredo José Henriques Nascimento (born 5 May 1937), known as Nascimento, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Montijo, Portugal, Nascimento arrived at 22 to C.F. Os Belenenses, being back-up to José Pereira, but playing most games in 1963–64. He joined S.L. Benfica in the following year, with Costa Pereira having physical problems, he replaced him in a winning league campaign in 1966–67. However, the rapid ascension of Zé Gato, stalled his career at Benfica, so he moved to União de Tomar in 1970 and retired four years later, age 37. Montijo, Portugal
Montijo () is a municipality in Setúbal District in Portugal. Its name was Aldeia Galega do Ribatejo or simply Aldeia Galega until 1930. The population in 2021 was 55,732, in an area of 348.62 km2. The town of Montijo proper had a population of 25,719 in 2001. It is one of the few municipalities in Portugal without territorial continuity; that is, its component parts are not conjoined. It is located in the Lisbon metropolitan area. History Montijo was known as Aldeia Galega until July 6, 1930, in spite of the fact that it was a small town and no longer a village. It was elevated to city status on August 14, 1985. Paleolithic vestiges of human settlement suggest that the region was occupied into the pre-history. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. José Henrique
José Henrique Rodrigues Marques (born 18 May 1943), known as José Henrique, is a retired Portuguese footballer. A goalkeeper, he was best known for his successful spell at Benfica, being nicknamed ''Zé Gato'' (Joe Cat). He appeared in 299 official games with the club, winning 11 major titles. Club career Born in Arrentela, Seixal, Setúbal, José Henrique first played at Amora FC (three seasons), then with Seixal F.C. and Atlético Clube de Portugal (one apiece), all clubs in the Lisbon area.
