Telangana Legislative Assembly
The Telangana Legislative Assembly or Telangana Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature. The Legislative Assembly of Telangana currently consists of 119 elected members and 1 nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community. Its chief engineer was Nawab Sarwar Jung. The members of the ''Vidhana Sabha'' are directly elected by people through Universal suffrage, adult franchise. Chilipched () is a village in Chilipched Mandal, Medak District, Telangana, India. The village is 36 kilometers away from the nearest town of Medak. It used to be under the Kowdipalle Mandal of Medak District. Following the reorganization of districts in Telangana on 11 October 2016, it was included in the newly formed Chilipched Mandal. 2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It was held concurrently with the Indian general election. The results were declared on 16 May 2014. The Telugu Desam Party led by N. Chandrababu Naidu won a majority of the 175 seats in the rump Andhra Pradesh, while Telangana Rashtra Samithi led by K. Chandrashekar Rao won in the new state of Telangana. Vakiti Sunitha Laxma Reddy was elected as Congress Party MLA from Narsapur Assembly Constituency, Medak District of Telangana. She was elected for three terms from the same constituency. The Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held in Telangana on 7 December 2018 to constitute the second Legislative Assembly since the formation of the state in 2014. The incumbent Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the Indian National Congress, BJP, Telangana Jana Samithi, and Telugu Desam Party were the main contestants in the election.
