Narnaund
Narnaund is an emerging city on Hansi–Chandigarh highway, a municipal committee and Narnaund (Vidhan Sabha constituency), in Hisar district in the Indian state of Haryana. The city Hansi is approximately 22 km away and another city Jind is 25 km. Narnaund is famous for its 'Main Bazar' as people from adjacent villages used to go there for purchases. The market has now developed to outer regions of the city also. Narnaund has famous Devraj-Mandir where people flock in large numbers on Ekadashi. Geography The important villages surrounding Narnaund are Bhaini Amir Pur Moth Rangran, Moth Karnail Sahib, Garhi Azima, Majra, Madha, Lohari Ragho, Rajthal, Khanda Kheri, Baas and Petwar. Captain Abhimanyu Singh Sindhu (born 18 December 1967) is an Indian politician. He was cabinet minister with independent charge of eight departments in the Government of Haryana state in India in the first-ever government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana. He is a former soldier, award-winning newspaper founder editor, entrepreneur, educationist and philanthropist. He was BJP's Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Legislative Assembly of Haryana from Narnaund in Hisar district from 2014 to 2019. He served in the Indian Army for six years where he was decorated with Special Services Medal. Hisar District
Hisar district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana, India. Hisar city serves as the district headquarters. Hisar district has four sub-divisions that is, Hisar, Barwala, Hansi and Narnaud, each headed by an SDM. The district is also part of Hisar division. Hisar was founded by Firuz Shah Tughlaq. The largest district in Haryana until its 1966 reorganization, some parts of Hisar were transferred to the newly created Jind district. In 1974, Tehsil Bhiwani and Loharu were transferred to Bhiwani district. Hisar was further bifurcated when Sirsa district was formed. Fatehabad district was later created as well. Narnaund Assembly constituency is one of the 90 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Haryana state in northern India. Overview It is part of Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. Winner 2014–2019 For many years, this constituency has been seen as anti-Congress seat. In 1967, Rameshwar Dutt won first MLA election from Narnaund assembly constituency of the newly created Haryana state. In 1968 and 1972, Joginder Singh won two consecutive assembly elections. 2019 Haryana Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly election was held in Haryana on 21 October 2019 to elect 90 members of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The final voter turnout was recorded at 68.20%. The results were announced on 24 October 2019. The Bharatiya Janata Party emerged as the single largest party and formed the government in a post-poll alliance with the Jannayak Janta Party and seven Independent MLAs. BJP's Manohar Lal Khattar and JJP President Dushyant Chautala were sworn in as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister respectively of BJP-JJP alliance government. Lohari Ragho is a village and Indus Valley civilization archaeological site located in Hisar district of Haryana state in India. Dushyant Singh Chautala (born 3 April 1988) is a Jannayak Janta Party politician and current Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana. He is the president and co-founder of the Jannayak Janata Party.
