Narinder Batth
Narinder Batth is an Indian lyricist of Punjabi music. His first hit was Jassi Gill's single "Lancer" in 2013. Background Batth was born in a small village, Batthan Kalan, Punjab, India. His father was a farmer and Batth also started farming after completing his studies. Career Batth made his debut with "Prem Kahani", which was sung by his friend, Harry Mirza. He wrote lyrics for other songs before "Lancer" became a hit. Subsequently, he wrote lyrics for many singers including Geeta Zaildar, Jassi Sohal, Kaur B, Rupinder Handa, Babbal Rai, Pardeep Jeed Kulbir Jhijher, and Dilpreet Dhillon among others. Narinder Nath Vohra (born 5May1936), popularly referred as N. N. Vohra, is a retired 1959batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Punjab cadre who was the 12thgovernor of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Narender Singh Kodan (28 May 1969 – 5 February 2016) was an Indian judoka who competed at two Olympic Games. Biography Singh, who was born in Delhi, won his first national championship in 1985. He represented his country for the first time at the 1989 South Asian Games and won a gold medal. In the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland he was the joint bronze medallist in the Extra Lightweight division. He is the first judoka to have represented India twice at the Summer Olympic Games. At his first appearance in Barcelona in 1992 he was eliminated in the first round of competition, by Egypt's Ahmed El Sayed. Narinder Singh (26 November 1824 – 13 November 1862) was Maharaja of the princely state of Patiala from 1845 to 1862. Brigadier Narinder Singh Sandhu MVC (1 September 1932 – 30 March 2018) was an Indian Army officer who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra (MVC), the second-highest Indian military decoration, for gallantry, leadership and devotion to duty during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Sandhu was commissioned into the Indian Army Armoured Corps in 1953, and participated in the Battle of Asal Uttar during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, and was mentioned in dispatches. He transferred to the Dogra Regiment in 1970, and it was for his performance as commanding officer of the 10th Battalion, Dogra Regiment during an assault on a fortified Pakistan Army position that he was awarded the MVC.
