Narco (Blasterjaxx And Timmy Trumpet Song)
"Narco" is a song by Dutch DJ/production duo Blasterjaxx and Australian DJ/producer Timmy Trumpet, released as a single in 2017. It is used as the walkout song of Edwin Díaz, the closer for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball. The song is also used as walk-up and home run music for William Contreras of the Milwaukee Brewers, whose usage of it has generated mild controversy. Composition and recording "Narco" was written and recorded by Blasterjaxx and Timmy Trumpet. The first portions of what would become "Narco" were created by Blasterjaxx members Idir Makhlaf and Thom Jongkind, who sought to create a song that would be mainstay on the dance floor. The duo soon created a synthetic drum beat that would remain in the introduction of the finished song and wrote a melody to go on top of it that Jongkind likened to an "Arabian flute". Blasterjaxx is a Dutch DJ and record producer duo composed of Thom Jongkind (born 1990) and Idir Makhlaf (born 1991), originated in The Hague and active since 2010. They are mostly known for producing big room house and electro house music, being more active in the first genre. History In 2010, Thom Jongkind, known professionally as Scalix, formed a duo called Blasterjaxx with producer Leon Vielvoije, who left soon after joining. Jongkind then continued under the Blasterjaxx name and started collaborating with Idir Makhlaf, known professionally as Macosta. ''Narcos'' is an American-Colombian crime drama television series created and produced by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro. 2020 MLB Season
The 2020 Major League Baseball season began on July 23 and ended on September 27 with only 60 games amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The full 162-game regular season was planned to begin on March 26, but the pandemic caused Major League Baseball (MLB) to announce on March 12 that the remainder of spring training was canceled and that the start of the regular season would be delayed by at least two weeks.
