Napier MRT Station
Napier MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Thomson–East Coast line (TEL). Located in Tanglin, Singapore, the station is at the junction of Napier Road, Holland Road and Cluny Road. The two exits of the station serve Singapore Botanic Gardens and Gleneagles Hospital, along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the surrounding embassies. First announced in August 2012 as part of the Thomson line (TSL), the station was constructed as part of TEL Phase 3 (TEL 3) with the merger of the TSL and the Eastern Region line. Henry Nicholas Ridley
Henry Nicholas Ridley CMG (1911), MA (Oxon), FRS, FLS, F.R.H.S. (10 December 1855 – 24 October 1956) was an English botanist, geologist and naturalist who lived much of his life in Singapore. He was instrumental in promoting rubber trees in the Malay Peninsula and, for the fervour with which he pursued it, came to be known as "Mad Ridley". Life Henry Ridley was the second son and third child born to Louisa Pole Stuart and Oliver Matthew Ridley in West Harling in Norfolk, where his father was the Rector. Stevens MRT Station
Stevens MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the Downtown (DTL) and Thomson–East Coast (TEL) lines. Situated at the junction of Stevens Road and Bukit Timah Road, it serves the nearby Singapore Chinese Girls' School and St. Joseph's Institution schools, as well as the Raffles Town Club and the surrounding private estates. The station was first announced in July 2008 as part of DTL Stage 2 (DTL2) and opened on 27 December 2015. Two new exits at Dunearn Road and Whitley Road opened on 23 November 2019. Mount Pleasant MRT station is a non-operational underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Novena, Singapore. Located within the former grounds of Old Police Academy, the station is planned to serve future housing developments in the area.
