Nanzhou Station (), formerly Nanzhou Coach Station () during its planning stages, is an interchange station between Line 2 on the Guangzhou Metro and the Guangfo Line. The Guangzhou Metro () ( and ) is the rapid transit system of the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province of China. An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons.
