The Nandi Awards are presented annually in Andhra Pradesh, For Telugu cinema by State government. "Nandi" means "bull", the awards being named after the big granite bull at Lepakshi — a cultural and historical symbol of Andhra Pradesh. Nandi Awards
The Nandi Awards are the awards that recognise the excellence in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre and Telugu television, and Lifetime achievements in Indian cinema. Presented annually by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the award is named after the big granite bull at Lepakshi — a cultural and historical symbol of the Telugu people. Nandi Awards are presented in four categories: Gold (Swarnam), Silver (Rajatam), Bronze (Kamsyam), and Copper (Raagi). A variant, the Nandi Natakotsavam Awards for Theatre, is also given every year by the government for social, mythological and poetic dramas. Sivamani (film)
''Sivamani'' is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film written, directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh on Vaishno Academy banner. The film stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rakshitha, Asin and Prakash Raj. It has music composed by Chakri. A part of the story has been taken from the movie ''Message in a Bottle'' released in 1999 which in turn was inspired by ''Message in a Bottle'' - the Nicholas Sparks novel. ''Gangotri'' is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language drama film which was released on 28 March 2003 and was directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. The cinematography was by Chota K. Naidu. Petla "Puri" Jagannadh (born 28 September 1966) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer, who works primarily in the Telugu film Industry. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu film '' Badri'' starring Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel.
