Nancy Guthrie
Nancy Lee Peoples Guthrie (born June 15, 1952) is an American politician was a Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing the 36th district from December 1, 2012 to December 1, 2016. Between 2006 and 2012, Guthrie represented the seven-member 30th district. Education Guthrie attended the Pennsylvania State University. The West Virginia Legislature is the state legislature of the U.S. state of West Virginia. A bicameral legislative body, the legislature is split between the upper Senate and the lower House of Delegates. It was established under Article VI of the West Virginia Constitution following the state's split from Virginia during the American Civil War in 1863. Fredrik Eric Nelson, Jr. (born December 4, 1960 in Charleston, West Virginia) is an American politician and a former Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, having represented District 35 from January 12, 2013 until December 1, 2020. Nelson served consecutively from January 2011 until January 2013 in the District 30 seat. After his tenure in the West Virginia House of Delegates, he went on to run for District 17 in the West Virginia Senate, which he subsequently won in November 3, 2020 general election.
