Nancy Caswell (October 28, 1913 – February 2, 1987) was an American child actress of the silent era and later as an adult in talkies, including a Three Stooges work. As a baby she was proclaimed the "perfect baby" and was the youngest actress, with roles when she was as young as three. ''Film Fun'' was a British celebrity comics comic book that ran from (issues dates) 17 January 1920 to 15 September 1962, when it merged with ''Buster (comic), Buster'', a total of 2,225 issues. There were also annuals in the forties and fifties. As the title suggests, the comic mainly featured comic strip versions of people from films from the 1920s to the 1960s. Publication history ''Film Fun'' was launched by Amalgamated Press (they would later release similar titles like ''Radio Fun'', ''Sports Fun'', and ''TV Fun''). Pre-World War II, war circulation at its peak was around 800,000 copies per week. The title was renamed ''Film Fun and Thrills'' in 1959 (when Amalgamated Press was bought by the Mirror Group; later known as International Publishing Company, IPC). ''Custer's Last Stand'' is a 1936 American film serial based on the historical Custer's Last Stand at the Little Bighorn River. It was directed by Elmer Clifton, and starred Rex Lease, William Farnum and Jack Mulhall. It was produced by the Poverty Row studio Stage & Screen Productions, which went bust shortly afterwards as a victim of the Great Depression. This serial stars many famous and popular B-Western actors as well as silent serial star Helen Gibson playing Calamity Jane, Frank McGlynn Jr. as General Custer, and Allen Greer as Wild Bill Hickok. In April of the same year, the serial was edited into an 84-minute feature film, which was released under the same name. It is the fifth entry in the series released by Columbia Pictures starring the comedians, who released 190 short films for the studio between 1934 and 1959. Plot The Stooges are detectives in the Old West. They have been sent out to recover an IOU from Double Deal Decker (Fred Kohler), a ruthless killer who plans to take possession of a ranch that is rightfully owned by Nell (Dorothy Kent). After an unsuccessful attempt at a saloon, the Stooges head to Decker's hideout, where they find an IOU, and Curly manages to defeat the killers. Shore Acres is a 1920 American drama film directed by Rex Ingram that was based on the stage play by James A. Herne. It was adapted from the play by Arthur J. Zellner. The silent film was released on May 16, 1920, and runs for 60 minutes, over 6 reels. It is unknown if any copies of the film survive. Thus the film may be lost.
