Felicity Ama Agyemang (born 15 August 1973), popularly known as Nana Ama McBrown, is a Ghanaian actress, TV presenter and a music writer. She rose to prominence for her role in television series ''Tentacles''. Later, she found mainstream success following her role in the Twi-language movie "''Asoreba" and "Kumasi Yonko"''. She is currently the host of television cooking show '' McBrown Kitchen'' and entertainment talk show ''United Showbiz'' on UTV. Early life and education Nana Ama McBrown was born Felicity Ama Agyemang in Kumasi, Ghana, on 15 August 1977. Her mother, Cecilia Agyenim Boateng, and her father Kwabena Nkrumah, divorced when McBrown was young. With her father gone and her mother unable to take care of her and her six other siblings, she together with her siblings were adopted by Kofi McBrown and her aunt, Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah. Side Chick Gang is a 2018 Ghanaian drama/comedy movie directed by Peter Sedufia. Synopsis Three female friends who quit their real jobs as ushers to pursue a job which pays more and better than their old jobs they set up "sidechic gang". ''Aloe Vera'' is a 2020 Ghanaian film produced by Manaa Abdallah and Anny Araba Adams as co-produced and directed by Peter Sedufia. Plot Two groups of people live in the same village, the Aloes and the Veras. There is a harsh rivalry between them that endures even with the children and each side is marked by their own trademark color. When the children of the town leaders', Aloewin and Veraline, fall in love they must find a way to bring the two communities together despite the animosity. The two friends were running away with the money, but their car went faulty they lodged in a guest house. As they were taking the money from their bag, it fell on the ground and created anxiety among the guests and workers in the hotel whereby everybody wanted to steal the money Of interest, the film is a wholesale, unauthorized remake of a South African film called ''Skeem'' which was written and directed by Tim Greene in 2011. In 2017, Ghanain journalists reached out to Greene to check Asamoah's claim that he had received permission to adapt the movie, which he had not.
