Nammo Stadion
Nammo Stadion is a football stadium located at Raufoss, Norway, and is the home of Norwegian 1. divisjon club Raufoss. The stadium has a current capacity of 1,800 spectators. History Plans for a new stadium for Raufoss Fotball were announced as early as November 2006. The construction costs were estimated to NOK 25 million and the planned capacity was 6,000 of which 2,000 were seated. Problems with funding delayed the project several years, and in 2014, Raufoss Fotball announced to ''Oppland Arbeiderblad'' that they would have to withdraw from the project without funding guarantees from Raufoss municipality. Nammo Stadion was opened on 13 June 2015. Raufoss won the opening game against Sprint-Jeløy with the score 3–1. Raufoss
Raufoss is the administrative centre of Vestre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located about south of the larger town of Gjøvik. The village area is located along the municipal border with the neighboring Gjøvik Municipality and the actual urban area of Raufoss does cross the border slightly, including a small part of Gjøvik as well (as defined by Statistics Norway). The village has a population (2021) of 7,839 and a population density of . Of these numbers, of the village and 7,565 people live in the Vestre Toten part of the village and of the village and 274 people live in the part of Raufoss that is in Gjøvik. Oppland
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway. Under-soil Heating
Under-soil heating is a method used in various sports stadia (with a grass surface) which heats the underside of the pitch to avoid any elements from bad weather, such as snow and ice, from building up and ultimately helps the club avoid having to postpone any matches. Most English Premier League teams now have this installed in their stadium. While it is not an official requirement, it avoids any financial loss that a club might face in having to postpone any matches due to bad weather. The first ground in England to have under-soil heating installed was Goodison Park in 1958. The pitch at Old Trafford has of under-soil heating and at Elland Road there is an under-soil heating system installed beneath the surface, consisting of 59 miles (95 km) of piping. A county municipality ( no, Fylkeskommune) is a Norwegian public elected body that is responsible for certain public administrative and service tasks within a county. Sportsklubben Sprint-Jeløy is a Norwegian football club from Jeløya in Moss. The club was founded in 1926 when both ''Jeløy IF'' and ''SK Sprint'' was formed. The two clubs merged into Sportsklubben Sprint-Jeløy on 11 October 1940. The women's team is one of Norway's most successful teams, with 4 Toppserien-titles and 4 Norwegian Women's Cup titles.
