Nam Định Textile Museum
The Nam Định Textile Museum is built on the site of the former Nam Định Textile Factory, once the largest factory in Indochina. The Nam Định Textile Museum was created in 2012 by the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (also known as Natexco) on the site of the former Nam Định Textile Factory. Located at 5 Hoang Hoa Street, Tham, Nam Dinh city, in the traditional housing area of the Factory, the museum has a French-style architecture. The Nam Định Textile Factory was established by French colonists in 1898. During the French Occupation, the Nam Định Textile Factory employed over 18,000 people, about a tenth of the local population. The Vietnam War (also known by #Names, other names) was a conflict in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from 1 November 1955 to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975. Nam Định
Nam Định () is a city in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam. It is the capital of Nam Định Province. The city of Nam Định is 90 km south-east of Vietnam's capital, Hanoi. From August 18–20 of each year, there is a festival held in Nam Định called the Cố Trạch. This celebration honors General Trần Hưng Đạo, a 13th-century national hero who led Vietnamese forces to victory over the invading Mongols. Sports Nam Định has two sports facilities, Thiên Trường Stadium (formerly Cuối Stadium) and Trần Quốc Toản Indoor Stadium, which are host to football and volleyball matches.
