Nallavan (1988 Film)
''Nallavan'' () is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language action film, directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and Ibrahim Rowther. It stars Vijayakanth, Raadhika and M. N. Nambiar. The film, released on 15 August 1988, was a success at the box office. Plot Gurumoorthy and Raja are twin brothers. Guru is set to marry a collector. On the day of the marriage, Raja is kidnapped and shown a photo where he is stabbing Manju. Raja realises it is Guru in the photo. What transpires later forms the crux of the story. Ibrahim Rowther
Ibrahim Rowther was an Veteran Indian film producer and writer who had worked on Tamil language films. He produced films under the studios Rowther Films, Tamilannai Cine Creation and IV Cine International. Career Ibrahim Rowther launched his first film, ''Uzhavan Magan'' in 1987 to promote his friend Vijayakanth as an actor in the Tamil film industry. Vijayakanth subsequently garnered several bigger offers, and regularly collaborated with Ibrahim during his acting career. In the late 1990s, Ibrahim took up a key administrative role in the Tamil Film Producers Council and later served as its president. His production house, Rowther Films, began to flail in the late 1990s and films such as K.Paarthasarathy's ''Unakkum Enakkum Kalyanam'' featuring Livingston and Devayani were put on hold. Velmurugan Thangasamy Manohar (born 6 March 1960), professionally credited as Charle, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. He has acted in more than 800 Tamil films as a comedian and supporting actor. He was named after the English comedian Charlie Chaplin. Biography Charle completed his degree in chemistry from G. V. N. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as ''Ponniyin Selvan'' and ''Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. ''The Indian Express'' is an English-language Indian daily newspaper founded in 1932. It is published in Mumbai by the Indian Express Group. In 1999, eight years after the group's founder Ramnath Goenka's death in 1991, the group was split between the family members. The southern editions took the name ''The New Indian Express'', while the northern editions, based in Mumbai, retained the original ''Indian Express'' name with ''"The"'' prefixed to the title. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. Raaga
A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The ''rāga'' is a unique and central feature of the classical Indian music tradition, and as a result has no direct translation to concepts in classical European music. Gopalakrishnan (born 9 May 1955), known professionally as Achamillai Gopi, is an Indian actor, singer, dramatist, and a Dubbing (filmmaking), voice over & dubbing artist.
