Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Uzzal (known by the stage name Uzzal; 28 April 1946) is a Bangladeshi film actor, producer and director. In the film, he made his film debut with Subhash Dutta directed film ''Binimoy''. In addition to acting in the film, he also produced and directed films. He acted in over 100 films and also in about 100 television plays. Notable films in which he starred include ''Arunodoyer Agnishakkhi'' and ''Nalish''. His directorial films are ''Shakti Porikkha'', ''Tibro Protibad'', and ''Paaper Shasti''. Early life Uzzal was born in Jantihar village, Shahzadpur, Pabna District in the then British India. He was a student of the University of Dhaka. He passed MA in International Relations in 1970 from Dhaka University. While staying at the SM hall of Dhaka University in 1967–69, he played the role of a hero in the play of the university or in the drama played by TSC and Sujata or Rubina was his co-artist. Ilyas Kanchan
Idris Ali (born 24 December 1956; known by his stage name Ilias Kanchan) is a Bangladeshi actor and activist. He appeared in more than 350 films during the 1980s and 1990s. He earned Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the film '' Parineeta'' (1986) and Best Supporting Actor for ''Shasti'' (2005). He is a road safety activist in Bangladesh. He was awarded Ekushey Padak for his social service by the Government of Bangladesh in 2018. He is the current President of Bangladesh Film Artists' Association. Sabina Yasmin
Sabina Yasmin (born 4 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Bengali cinema. She has won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer a record 14 times. She has recorded more than 1,500 songs for films and over 10,000 songs in total. Yasmin was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1984 and Independence Day Award in 1996 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Yasmin was born on 4 September 1953. Rathindranath Roy is a Bangladeshi musician. He was a performer in Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra. Roy sang Bhawaiya songs from the Rangpur area. He is also a playback singer. Gazi Mazharul Anwar (22 February 1943 – 4 September 2022) was a Bangladeshi film director, producer, lyricist, screenwriter and music director. He earned the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyricist a record six times for the films ''Tit for Tat (1992)'', ''Ajante (1996)'', ''Churiwala (2001)'', ''Lal Dariya (2002)'', ''Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti (2003)'' and '' Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe (2016)''. Mumtaz Ali
Mumtaz Ali (15 March 1905 – 6 May 1974) was an Indian dancer and character actor in Hindi cinema from the 1940s to 1970s. He was the father of Indian actor Mehmood. He also had his own dance troupe "Mumtaz Ali Nites" which performed all over India. His career slumped due to his excessive drinking and his family fell into hard times, leading to his son Mehmood to work as a child artist and daughter Minoo Mumtaz to work as dancer in his stage shows and later in movies.
