Nakuru AllStars
The Nakuru AllStars are a Kenyan association football club based in Nakuru. They currently compete in the Nakuru County League the Kenyan Fifth division after their relegation from the National Super League in 2018 and ceding their position in the Division One after suffering financial difficulties. The club was reformed and created as a continuation of the former Nakuru AllStars, who won the Kenya National Football League in 1963 and 1969. In 2010, Kenyan Robert Muthomi reformed and revived the club and its name with a selection of players at under-15 level. Muthomi is a former player's representative who is now the General Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Football Kenya Federation. The club received media attention from Denmark as prominent sports website Bold.dk co-founder Pierre Vendelboe was an investor in the club. John Muiruri
John Machethe "Mo" Muiruri (born 10 October 1979) is a Kenyan footballer who played for Moss FK in Norway as a midfielder. He was known for his close ball control and ability to dribble the ball. He is one of the most talented midfield quartet of the Kenya National team, Harrambe Stars along with McDonald Mariga, Robert Mambo, Jamal Mohamed and Titus Mulama. The following article is a summary of the 2015 football season in Kenya, which is the 52nd competitive season in its history. The beginning of the season was hampered by the failure of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) to reach an agreement over the running of the top division in Kenyan football. Following a proposal from the FKF to expand the league to 18 teams, it formed a parallel FKF Premier League after talks with the KPL fell through over the running and composition of the Kenyan top flight for the 2015 season. Existing KPL clubs refused to take part in the FKF Premier League and instead pledged to remain in the KPL. Menengai Oil Refineries
Menengai Crater is a massive shield volcano with one of the biggest calderas in the world, in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. It is the largest volcano caldera in Kenya and the second largest volcano caldera in Africa. Volcanic formed rich loam soils enrich the adjacent farmland arounds its flanks. The crater is on the floor of the Rift Valley. The volcano formed about 200,000 years ago and the prominent 12 x 8 km caldera formed about 8000 years ago. The caldera floor is covered with numerous post caldera lava flows. The Menengai volcano is considered one of the best-preserved Krakatau-style calderas in the world. Menengai has very little sediment in the caldera which is a thick mass of lava boulders and inaccessible ridges. Afraha Stadium
The Afraha Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Nakuru, Kenya. It used mostly for association football, football matches and is the home stadium of Nakuru AllStars of the Kenyan Premier League and Ulinzi Stars of the Kenyan Premier League. The stadium holds 8,200 people and opened in 1948. The stadium is two kilometres from the famous Lake Nakuru National Park.
