Nakisa Levale
Nakisa Levale (born 12 March 1997) is a Canadian rugby sevens player. She was named in Canada's sevens team and competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Her side lost to New Zealand in the bronze medal match and finished fourth overall. Levale competed for Canada at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town. Canada Women's National Rugby Sevens Team
The Canada women's national rugby sevens team was one of six "core teams" that competed in all four rounds of the inaugural World Rugby Women's Sevens Series in 2012–13. Canada competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal after defeating Great Britain 33-10. At the 2020 Olympics they failed to medal and finished in 9th place. They participated at the 2021 Canada Women's Sevens in Vancouver and Edmonton. Canada finished third at both tournaments. 2022 Commonwealth Games
The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022. Birmingham was announced as host on 21 December 2017. The Games marked England's third time hosting the Commonwealth Games after London 1934 and Manchester 2002, and the 7th Games held in the United Kingdom, with previous events in Wales and Scotland: Cardiff 1958, Edinburgh 1970 and 1986 and Glasgow 2014. The New Zealand women's national rugby sevens team represents New Zealand in the World Rugby Sevens Series, Rugby World Cup Sevens, Summer Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games. Rugby Sevens At The 2022 Commonwealth Games – Women's Tournament
The rugby sevens at the 2022 Commonwealth Games – Women's tournament was the women's event of the Commonwealth Games rugby sevens competition held every four years. It was held at the Coventry Stadium from 29 to 31 July 2022. Venue The tournaments were originally scheduled to take place at Villa Park, but they instead took place at the Coventry Stadium in Coventry. The adjacent Coventry Arena will play host to judo and wrestling. Qualification England qualified as host nation, three nations qualified via the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series, and four nations booked their places in regional qualification tournaments. The women's tournament for the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens was held in Cape Town, South Africa from September 9 to 11 at the Cape Town Stadium. The Fiji women's national rugby sevens team represents Fiji at regional and international sevens tournaments. They have won three Pacific Games gold medals, two Oceania Championships, a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the Summer Olympics. They also compete in the World Rugby Sevens Series and Rugby World Cup Sevens. History Fiji won the gold medal at the 2011 Pacific Games in Nouméa, New Caledonia.
