The Nakhchivan Garrison ( az, Naxçıvan Hərbi Qarnizonu), also referred to as the Nakhchivan Army ( az, Naxçıvan Ordusu), formerly known as the 5th Army Corps, is a regional military formation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. The Internal Troops of Azerbaijan ( az, Azərbaycan Respublikası Daxili Qoşunları), also known as Interior Troops or Interior Guard, is the uniformed gendarmerie-like force in Azerbaijan. Internal Troops are subordinated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan (the police authority of the country).
