Naked (Louise Album)
''Naked'' is the debut solo album by English singer Louise. Released in July 1996, it peaked at number seven on the UK Albums Chart and sold over 300,000 copies in the UK alone, being certified platinum. Background After leaving Eternal, Louise signed a solo record deal with First Avenue Management. She was still under contract to EMI Records at that time, and in October 1995 she released her debut solo single, " Light of My Life", which peaked at No. 8. Six months later, Louise's second single "In Walked Love" (previously a hit for American dance-pop group Exposé), peaked at No. 17. However, her third single, "Naked", was a bigger hit, peaking at No. 5 in the UK. The album ''Naked'' was released shortly afterwards. Two further singles, " Undivided Love" and " One Kiss from Heaven", also became top-10 hits later in 1996. Louise Elizabeth Redknapp (née Nurding, born 4 November 1974) is an English singer, songwriter and media personality. She was a member of Eternal, an R&B girl group which debuted in 1993 with their quadruple-platinum studio album '' Always & Forever''. In 1995, she departed from the group for a solo career, in which she released the albums ''Naked'' (1996), '' Woman in Me'' (1997) and ''Elbow Beach'' (2000). Aside from music, Louise has presented several television shows and was a judge on the UK version of ''So You Think You Can Dance''. She was married to the English former footballer Jamie Redknapp. In 2016, Louise reached the final in the fourteenth series of BBC One's '' Strictly Come Dancing''. In January 2020 following a 17-year hiatus from recording Redknapp released '' Heavy Love'' to critical acclaim. UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The OCC produces its charts by gathering and combining sales data from retailers through market researchers Kantar, and claims to cover 99% of the singles market and 95% of the album market, and aims to collect data from any retailer who sells more than 100 chart items per week. Sheppard J. "Shep" Solomon (born December 12, 1969 in New York City, New York, United States) is an American songwriter. Biography Solomon attended the Fiorello H. Trevor Steel
Trevor David Steel (born 1958) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is a mainstay member of the alternative rock band, The Escape Club, which formed in 1983, disbanded in 1992 and reformed in 2009.
