Hirofumi Nakasone
is a Japanese politician from Takasaki, Gunma, who served as Minister for Foreign Affairs from September 2008 to September 2009. He was Minister of Education under Prime Minister Yoshirō Mori. He is former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone's son. Nakasone was appointed as head of the Science and Technology Agency by Prime Minister Keizō Obuchi in early October 1999. In the Cabinet of Prime Minister Tarō Asō, appointed on 24 September 2008, Nakasone was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Early years Nakasone was born in Gunma Prefecture in 1945 and graduated from Keio University with a degree in Business and Commerce. Keith Nakasone
Keith Nakasone (born January 20, 1956) is a former competitive judoka and native of Okinawa, Japan. Nakasone is a four time (1974–1977) national collegiate judo champion at San Jose State University competing in the 132 lbs division. In 1978, Keith suffered a serious ankle injury. Nakasone qualified for the 1980 U.S. Olympic team but did not compete due to the U.S. Olympic Committee's boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Soviet Union. Michael Nakasone
Michael Nakasone is a band director. Born in Hawaii, he led the Hawaii Youth Symphony, the Pearl City High School (Hawaii) Band, the Royal Hawaiian Band, and most recently the Punahou School Wind Ensemble. Early life Nakasone was raised in Hilo and enrolled in several public schools in the vicinity, until graduating from Hilo High School. He was a keyboard player for a local rock band during the 1960s. At the University of Hawaii at Manoa, he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in music education. Career In 1968, Nakasone started his career as a band director at the Wahiawa Intermediate School. Nakasone Toyomiya
(active c. 1500–1530) was a Ryūkyūan Chieftain and later Anji of the Miyako Islands credited with repelling an invasion from Ishigaki Island, and expanding Miyako political control over some of the Yaeyama Islands. When the Miyako Islands were attacked by the Ryūkyū Kingdom, Nakasone saved the people of Miyako from harm by agreeing to surrender to annexation by the Kingdom. Yasuhiro Nakasone
was a Japanese politician who served as Prime Minister of Japan and President of the Liberal Democratic Party from 1982 to 1987. He was a member of the House of Representatives for more than 50 years.
