''Naina'' () is a 2002 Tamil language comedy horror film directed by Manobala. The film stars Jayaram in a dual role and Manya, with Vadivelu, Ramesh Khanna, Bhanupriya Kovai Sarala, and Rajan P. Dev playing supporting roles. The film, produced by V. Santhakumar, had musical score by Sabesh–Murali and was released on 30 August 2002. Plot The film begins with Annamalai (Jayaram), a ghost, trying to talk to his son Pasupathy (Jayaram), but nobody has been able to see or hear him since his death. Pasupathy is a taxi driver, and he is in love with the lawyer Vaanathi ( Manya). Aavudaiyappan (Vadivelu), a con medium, becomes the only one who can hear Annamalai. After being annoyed by Annamalai, Aavudaiyappan finally decides to help him. They meet Pasupathy, but Pasupathy seems to hate his deceased father. Vaiyapuri
Vaiyapuri (born 23 October 1968 as Ramakrishnan) is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil-language films. He rose to fame by appearing in supporting roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, often portraying supporting comedic characters. His first major role was in Balu Mahendra's ''Raman Abdullah'' (1997), while his roles in films including ''Thulladha Manamum Thullum'' (1999), ''Gemini'' (2002) and Mani Ratnam's '' Raavanan'' (2010) also garnered him acclaim. Aruldoss
Aruldoss is an Indian actor who has appeared in supporting roles in predominantly Tamil language films. Prior to focusing on an acting career, he worked as a cinematographer for several films. Career After completing school, Aruldoss worked as a photographer at weddings. Bonda Mani
Bonda Mani is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films. He has worked in comedy and supporting roles in over 270 films. Career Bonda Mani has described that his stage name is derived from his diet of bondas, when he was a struggling actor, and the suffix of his mentor, Goundamani. His original name is Kedheeswaran and he originates from Sri Lanka. While working in Singapore during the 1980s, he became acquainted with director K. Bhagyaraj who visited the country for a show. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with ''Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, Marimuthu (Vadivelu) calls the owner and asks when the shop will open. The owner tells him that the store closed. Vadivelu drinks alcohol and repeatedly disturbs the shop owner during the night. Death Chelladurai was admitted to Keezhpakkam Government Hospital in Chennai due to kidney issues on 8 February after having problems for several months.
