Nahuel Pennisi
Nahuel Pennisi (born October 19, 1990) is an Argentine performing musician and songwriter. He has released three studio albums, won three Gardel Awards and received three Latin Grammy Award nominations. Early life Pennisi was born in October 19, 1990, in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is blind from birth and showed interest for music from an early age, he started to experiment with a keyboard at four years old, later teaching himself how to play the bass and guitar, forming a profound connection with the guitar being the instrument he usually plays in his music. At 16, while still being in high school, he started to play in the streets of Buenos Aires becoming a full-time musician after finishing high school. Career In 2009, he participated for the first time at the Cosquín Festival, a folk music festival where he met the guitarist Luis Salinas who invited him to perform as a guest for one of his shows. The Latin Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album is an award presented at the Latin Grammy Awards since 2012. Aaron Sterling (born July 9, 1980) is an American drummer, producer, engineer, and session musician who lives in Los Angeles. The son of professional musicians, Sterling grew up in Texas and Nashville, Tennessee, before moving to L.A. in 2000. Known for his studio work, Sterling has played on hundreds of records over the past decade and has drummed for John Mayer since 2011, and has recorded for artists such as Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, the Civil Wars, Maren Morris and many, many more. Alex Acuña
Alejandro Neciosup Acuña (born December 12, 1944), known professionally as Alex Acuña, is a Peruvian-American drummer and percussionist. Background Born in Pativilca, Peru, Acuña played in local bands such as La Orquesta de los Hermanos Neciosup from the age of ten. Acuña then followed his brothers and moved to Lima as a teenager. At the age of eighteen he joined the band of Perez Prado, and in 1965 he moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 1974 Acuña moved to Las Vegas, working with artists such as Elvis Presley, The Temptations, and Diana Ross, and the following year he joined the jazz-fusion group Weather Report, appearing on the albums ''Black Market'' and '' Heavy Weather''. Jimmy Johnson (born 1956) is an American bass guitarist best known for his work with James Taylor, Allan Holdsworth, and Flim & the BB's. Raised in a rich musical environment, his father was a 47-year member of the Minnesota Orchestra's bass section, his mother a piano teacher and accompanist, and his brother Gordon is also a professional bassist. In 1976, Johnson worked with Alembic and GHS to create one of the first 5-string bass guitars with a low B string. Weldon Dean Parks (born December 6, 1946) is an American session guitarist and record producer from Fort Worth, Texas. Albums Parks was member of the North Texas State One O'clock Lab Band before moving to Los Angeles to work with Sonny and Cher in 1970. In 1980, he was a founding member of the Christian Jazz Fusion band Koinonia. Parks is best known for his many contributions to albums by Steely Dan, Michael Jackson, and Bread.
