Nagpur Broad-gauge Metro
Nagpur broad-gauge Metro (Marathi language, Marathi: नागपूर ब्रॉड-गेज मेट्रो) is a commuter rail project planned for the city of Nagpur and extending up to adjacent areas of Wardha, Yavatmal, Narkhed, Ramtek, Bhandara, Amravati, Wadsa and Chhindwara (also Nagbhid in the near future) in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, India. This project will be executed by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited. Detailed Project Report A report was prepared by Urban Mass Transit Company. Four routes of approximately 270 km were proposed at the cost of ₹418 crore. Three coach trains will run on Indian Railways' Broad-gauge railway, broad gauge tracks at a maximum operating speed of 160 km/h. The passenger capacity of each train is 885. The final detailed project report was submitted in August 2019. Ajni Railway Station
Ajni railway station (station code:- AJNI) is a railway station in vicinity of Nagpur in Maharashtra on Delhi–Chennai line. It is situated at a distance of about 2.8 km from Nagpur railway station. Khapri Metro Station
Khapri is a metro station on the Orange (North-South) line of the Nagpur Metro serving the Khapri area of Nagpur. It was opened to the public on 8 March 2019. The station is integrated with the Khapri railway station, and is linked with Wardha Road via a subway that passes under the main railway line. The Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (now the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited) awarded the contract to construct the station to Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (ILFS) in July 2016. Nagpur Metro is a rapid transit system for the city of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. It is estimated to cost .
