Naftali Tamir (Hebrew: נפתלי תמיר) is an Israeli diplomat. Yuval Rotem ( he, יובל רותם; born March 21, 1959) is an Israeli diplomat who is currently the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Biography Yuval Rotem was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to Rachel and Israel Frenkel, and grew up in Givatayim. Rotem attended his first years of school in a local school. He moved on to a regional high school, "Yironi Tet" in Tel Aviv. Rotem is fluent in Hebrew and English, and understands Italian. Ali Yahya
Ali Yahya ( ar, علی یحیی, he, עלי יחיא; – 11 September 2014) was an Israeli Arab diplomat. He became the first Israeli ambassador of Arab descent in 1995 when he was appointed Ambassador to Finland, a post in which he served until 1999. Yahya served as Israeli Ambassador to Greece from 2006 to 2014. Biography Yahya was born in 1947 and raised in Kafr Qara, Mandatory Palestine. He completed his BA degree in history and Arabic literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1970. Yahya lived with his wife and five children.
